Tigers Nest Monastery

A mesmerising sight to see, you will look up in amazement as this monastery hangs on a cliff. The view from atop is unmatched, and offers gorgeous sights of the world below. At a height of 900 metres, the Tigers Monastery can be reached by arranging a pony ride that takes you to the cafeteria area of the Monastery. From there, you would have to climb up steep steps to reach the top of the Monastery. Watch out for the waterfall that lies near the Snow Lion Cave and enjoy the breath-taking view of the Paro Valley from above!

 

Punakha Dzong

One of the oldest dzong in Bhutan, Punakha dzong is also called ‘Pungthang Dewachen Phodrang’ meaning the Palace of Happiness. It’s a beautiful dzong that sits between the rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu. Zuri Dzong

Zuri Dzong is the oldest Dzong that exist in Bhutan.
