Then proceed to Drung, another spectacular stream that offers some great fishing and rock climbing experiences.   1. Pahalgam

 Pahalgam is located along the banks of the River Laddar. At an altitude of 7,200 feet, it is famous for the Amarnath Yatra that takes place every year from July to August. Golfing, trekking, water sports and horse riding are just some of the activities you can try out here. Visit the Betaab Valley, another popular spot in Pahalgam. With meadows, valleys, rivers and lakes aplenty, the place is just majestic. Aru Valley is a picturesque village that offers scenic views around. It is also the starting point for trekking trails to Kolahoi glacier.
