Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir
A lofty plateau region, Ladakh is location around 3,000 metres above sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The plateau extends from the Kunlun Ranges to the mighty Himalayas, and includes a section of the Upper Indus River Valley. Manali, Himachal Pradesh

At a height of around 2,050 metres, the weather here is generally cool, with temperatures ranging between 26°C and 4°C through the year. The area is well known for its apple, plum and trees. Kaziranga National Park, Assam
Located in Assam, which is actually North East India, the Kaziranga National Park is a beautiful sanctuary for wildlife lovers. The national park is located in the Nagaon and Golaghat regions of Assam. The park is home to around two-thirds of the world’s entire one-horned rhinoceros population! It’s also a tiger reserve as it protects the Indian tiger – the national animal. Within the park, you can enjoy safaris while looking out for elephants, wild water buffaloes and swamp deer. If you look to the sky, you are sure to find a number of wild and enchanting birds, which has led to the park being recognised as a vital bird area.
